Academia Barilla chose Electrolux Professional for its kitchens.
Academia Barilla is the first premier international center dedicated to the development and promotion of Italian Gastronomic Culture. Located in the heart of Parma - the capital of the Italian Food Valley - the Barilla Center is around 27,000 square feet.
Academia Barilla chose Electrolux Professional as the technical sponsor to equip its training room, dedicated to personal training courses, buffets and aperitifs, and its two demo kitchens for personal cooking classes, demonstrations in the preparation of food and new cooking technologies.
The entire kitchens are equipped with Electrolux products: several air-o-steam® combi ovens and air-o-chill® blast chillers to perform a completely
integrated cook and chill process. Foodservice solutions from Thermaline 900 and Elco900 were chosen for the different work stations. Large induction tops, open burners, pasta cookers, fry tops, fryers are just some of the cooking functions installed.
And, last but not least, there is made-to-measure preparation equipment with unique worktops, a ventilation ceiling and some hood type dishwashers for cleaning operations.
